SESSION
Can a Plan Bring Healing to a Tourism Town?
Medora, North Dakota, is a town of a little more than 100 people sitting at the gateway to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the soon-to-open Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. Faced with immense pressure to grow, can the Medora Area Plan be the key to bringing together various agencies and local organizations to establish a Plan of common consensus to accommodate growth in tourism, needed employment, and housing? The session will explore how bringing different organizations together in various ways has made a difference in Medora.
