Round Up: Hot New Ideas for Small City Plans
This session will address the current state of comprehensive planning in small cities, to include an overview of several recent planning efforts in Idaho and a closer look at a Comprehensive Plan Update Process that is currently ongoing in Chubbuck, Idaho. In addition, the session will have an interactive component, where the audience breaks up into 3 subgroups to brainstorm and share their experiences with the following related topics: 1) plan components and how to address them; 2) successful public engagement techniques; and 3) productive implementation chapters that tee up action items.
